Stromberg

Hey guys, I have two Stromberg carbs on a 59A I just built, Engine has about 300 miles on it, runs great and alls good.
Now for some reason after it sits for a couple days the carbs will leak all the fuel into the engine, the front carb will leak all the way out wile the rear carb will leak about half way out.
I did the carbs when I built the engine, I know the floats are set correct, they have new style needle seats " the ball type"
I am running a electric fuel pump, a Carter low pressure pump with a holley regulator set to 3 psi.
Ive read a bunch of articles on the internet, and I am kinda stumped,
Any ideas ?
Thanks as always ..

Remove the accelerator pump and put some fuel in the well to check for a leak. You can get genuine Stromberg parts on their web site.

I had the same problem - there is a gasket under the power valve - it must be there and the valve must work - NOT DAMAGED.
Changed out damaged power valve used the gasket - problem solved !!!
