stromberg carburetors

I have 2 unrestored stromberg carburetors. One is a 97. The other is identical but does not say 97 on the side. What is the second one

could be a 97 without the "97"....Mike

It could be a 40 or 48. I am sure our Carb gurus will know.

Have a peek behind the chokekicker linkage, passenger side of body. Small circle will have 31/32 if it's a 97. If it's a 48, it'll have 1-1/32 in the circle. (indicates venturi size).
