Stromberg Carburetor 97 Cleaning ?

I'm presently cleaning a 97 Stromberg Carburetor. It appears that one of the Accelerator Pump Discharge Jets (tube) is damaged part # 9577K.
I have a set of new ones. Not sure how to remove and install the new one. I think I can get the old one out but not sure how to get the new one in place with a good seal or fit ?

It's amazing how many parts are in this carburetor. With gaskets and screws their must be over 35 parts. Anyone know the correct number of parts ?

Tap the bottom ID of the emulsion tube about 6 turns deep #6-32 thread, then insert a long screw with a washer & nut, tighten nut against washer and body of Carb. it will pull the tube, straight out, without any damage. No drilling necessary. The tapping will not damage the tube make sure the other end of the tube is straight and can enter Carb. body if not you will have to cut off damage. Insert new tube using light oil on OD and push it in place, make sure it is all the way inserted, look at the other end. Then insert the main jets and Snug them down. DO NOT over tighten the main jets they can collapse the small holes in the tubes. Use light oil on the threads again. Any problems contact Max Musgrove the Stromberg Tech. see the Stromberg web site. He can face off the gasket surfaces so there are no leaks PV or plugs.

Pulling the discharge jets can be like visiting the dentist.
I grab them , down low, with small visegrips and give 'em a tug.
Sometimes you get lucky and the whole works come out. Other times it's handy to use a small easyout to remove the tapered collar. I use a special slotted punch to drive the new collars back in.
Not really necessary to use sealer, as that's what the taper is for.
