Hello!
This winter I am pulling the transmission on my 1937 v8-60. The transmission have been hard to get out of gear when the engine is hot. So there is either a clutch or transmission issue.
When I pulled the shift tower I found that there were 3 gaskets there!?? Two original paper type and one in metal between these two. See attached pictures.
Why did somone do this? Is it a common modification?
