Can anyone tell me how to correct my steering? I'm sure it must be something to do with the 7 tooth steering box. The problem is from straight ahead it takes approximately 7/8 of a revolution of the steering wheel for a right turn and 1 1/8 turn for a left hand turn.
Also check to see if each side hits the stops. If so then count the turns from one side to the other and place the steering wheel half way between and see where the front wheels are pointing. Any chance you have a bent tie rod, or spindle arm?
I would have to agree with Tom,If its turning more to one side or another chances are its an issue with the front end geometry.....weather its off or you have something bent
Mine is currently this way since installing a shortened pitman arm, I am making a adjustable drag link not a uncommon problem with the 7 tooth box , a search here explains why.
