on a 1930 A does the steering wheel just pull off. I can't find any screws holding it on. Need to get to the wiring to check lights and horn.
Thanks Doyle
Removing the steering wheel doesn't expose any wiring. The wiring connects at the bottom of the steering column. There is a C type clip that holds the light and horn rod in place. There is a wire inside the light switch and horn rod that can be replaced. Removal of the steering wheel isn't necessary.
You do not need to remove the steering wheel to access any wiring in a stock model a, all steering column wiring is at the bottom, with one wire inside the horn rod/light switch tube.
