Steering wheel paint?

Hey guys! I need to paint my the 56 steering wheel I just bought. It is pink, I need it to be black. It has been decades since I painted one. What brand paint do you all reccomend? It will have one of those lace on covers on it, so I am not concerned about paint rubbing off. Thanks in advance! - F F

I used Rustoleum and then clear coated with Rustoleum clear. Has been on for 5 yrs so far & still shines. Sure a hell of a lot cheaper than auto paint. Have you checked prices of auto paint lately?

Yes, I have checked! This is not a show car, and never will be as long as I own it. Just a nice driver, so I was going to use spray can paint, anyways. And, I just happen to have some black & clear Rustolium in my paint dept. Thanks! - F F
