I have been told there is a VW shock absorber that works well as a stabilizer, could you please tell me which shock that is? Or something else that works well that is less than $100 ,my 15 needs something to tame down the steering ,when I make a turn she wants to go all the way and not return to center. I thank you all in advance for any and all help!! jim

Returning to center is a function of caster, camber, and toe-in not an add on device. Get the front end looked at and repaired.

Agree with J Franklin - those "steering stabilizers" don't help anything. What you describe is from the steering / front end components being either out of adjustment or worn out or both.
