Hey fellas, I'm working on a semi off-topic project (late 30's/early 40's style gow job; T roadster on an A chassis) and need some steering help. I'm going to ditch the A steering box in favor of a 33-4 15:1 box but I need to use a longer steering shaft (the 35-36 46.50" shafts would be perfect!)
According to Vince's steering shaft reference, both the 33-34 and the 35-36 shafts use a worm that is 2.89" in length; does anyone know if a 33-34 15:1 worm can be pressed onto a 35-36 shaft?
