Steering gear

[Dale Fairfax]

Hi-I usually hang out over on the Early V-8 Forum but today's issue is, possibly a Model One. I recently acquired some parts including a steering gear. I don't recognize it but am suspicious it's an "A". Could someone post a picture of an "A" gearbox ?

It will work alot better if you post a pic of what you have, maybe someone can identify it. I tried posting a pic from one of the vendors but it didn't work.

Model A's came with one of two different steering boxes, a 2 tooth and a 7 tooth.

and there are gremmer steering boxes as well.

Even a Gemmer

Thanks-I had already picked up on that but decided to ignore it. I guess that leads to the question: Did Model A use something OTHER than Gemmer. That's all Ford used in the V-8 era.
