Steering box

I have a worn out '28 7 tooth steering box. I have two vendors and each have rebuilt 28 steering boxes for sale. One is an original 7 tooth the other has a rebuilt F-100. Of the two which steering box is the best. I know the F-100 will take some cutting and welding but I can handle that.

To first answer your question, we need to know whether you want your vehicle to remain original -or whether modified is acceptable. The F-100 box is definitely better because the technology is 20+ years newer over the 7 tooth.

Also, if you purchase Gross F-100 conversion, I'm pretty sure it is 'plug & play' when you receive it (No cutting nor welding needed)
