Does anyone have an exploded view of the springs and cups on the steering arm of a 55? This is the part where the pitman arm ball stud goes in. Thanks, Ben
KULTULZ- I have that picture in my service manual but it doesn't show the internal springs and cups on the idler arm to pitman bar.
This is manual steering, correct. There are (were) no service pieces. All of what you are describing (I think) came as an assembly. With all the stuff you come up with, I felt sure you would have a view of it.
No, I used to have a mobile tool truck and the business name was KULTULZ. I have been stuck in Yankee territory for many years...From your nickname, did you use to be in Tulsa?
Thanks to both, Ben

This is an exploded view of what was requested.
Just get in, crank it up and go. Your feet will remember where to go.Order of assembly was what I wanted to clarify. Thanks to all. Got it back in place. When you get old, you don't finish some of these jobs in one sitting and it sometimes gets a little fuzzy. Now if I can just remember if the clutch is the left one or the middle one I should be good to go.

Where did you come across that ILL if I might ask?

And this info and assembly detail was not in the shop manual? Interesting.
I need to read a little more concisely...![]()
