steering arm passenger side

is there a way to replace the steering arm passenger side, without removing backing plate etc? if I turn the wheel all the way it will almost cleat the tie rod plug but not quit enough thanks john

I just replaced mine, but disassembled everything, as I replaced King Pins too.
But I found that A&L, who does the SS replaced balls for the vendors, will sell to you directly. The core charge for the old arm is only $12, so when you figure in shipping your old arm, it might make sense to just get a replacement outright from them. I know the other vendors want your old arm first before they will ship you a rebuilt one.
