Stearing gear question

I have what was said to be a 37 or 38 gear. How do i adapt the light switch to this . Make an adapter or am i missing something.??don p

Forgot to mention ,im using this in a 36 don p

The 35-36 parts won't work ,you will need them from a 37-39 gear.If you don't have them(bracket that the switch fits on to and the bale)place a wanted ad for them.Pull up EBAY auction # 360306722969,the auction has ended but there is a good pic of what you are missing.

Thanks d lover thats what i needed,wonder what happened to the one that was on there,? Or was there on ever on there?

You are missing part number 78-3569 bracket. This is fastened to the bottom plate with two of the four bolts. This bracket is what the light switch fits on. Look in your parts book.
