station wagons and phaetons

[mot]

Anyone catch Turner classic movies last night? Will Rogers night
many great shots of phaetons ,coupes, cabriolets, panel trucks, and station wagons
some 32 phaetons,33 tudors ,33 station wagon
the best one was called "Too busy to work"
it had a great long scene of Will Rogers learning to drive,in a 29 Station wagon
he was speeding down a gravel road ,going on the shoulders
and finally spinning out right next to a cop car
it looked new,and had some great close up scenes
the wagon was painted a dark color ,not Manila Brown
there was also an earlier station wagon with a honeycomb radiator and fluted lens headlamps
I know someone was collecting info on Movies with Model As in them, these were the best I've seen

I missed those , but did see "yankee in King Arthur's Court. There must have been 40 Austin Bantams including a roadster.
