I looked for quite awhile for one and finally put together a cable. You can buy the repro knob and pretty good cables show up on Ebay but it is better to look for a NOS Made in USA older one than new China ones. You need to look for one that has the 3/8 thread knob end part that is long enough to have enough threaded area to pass through the steering column bracket and have enough threads left for the nut to tighten, most cables this is too short to work as far as threads.but some do show up.You have to ask the seller how long is threaded part, think it has to be at least an inch or more. You need the correct starter switch that mounts on starter motor again lots on Ebay. Everything can be fabricated with hand tools, biggest deal is leaving cable housing long enough again I think this is around 31" or more for housing ,inner cable longer.Fit cable length when everything else is in place, really easy if you buy a good USA cable to begin with search for choke cables, throttle etc. I think one I used was for a Lycoming airplane engine NOS Genuine and inner cable was close to 1/16" diameter not thin China size. Get starter switch first you will see what diameter hole is on the lever that gets pulled up. Last thing to remember is special firewall grommet with hole angled down to align cable to aim at pull lever on starter motor.
