When I tried to start the motor, The starter motor keep running. I got a new starter switch installed it and tried it again same thing. Must be something in the starter ??
Having the starter switch stick is no fun, especially when you are out on the road. I hope you have a main shut-off switch for when it happens again. When I tried to start the motor, The starter motor keep running. Hello, they added a coil spring on mine between firewall and starter pedal to compensate for the poor quality repro switch, makes it little harder to push it down.

Starter problem cured. I did the spring thing between the firewall and the starter rod. Try it three times it works. Can't wait for the next issue to come up !! HAHa.

Not sure how that works. The starter pedal is not connected to contacts. There is an insulator in between the two. The spring would pull the pedal up, but not the contacts.
