Starter issues on 8BA?

Also make sure you have the little bracket that goes on one starter bolt and attatches
to a pan bolt. It helps hold the starter steady and helps starter ground.

Now that gives me cause for concern, I don't recall a bracket.
It works ok, but just not as strong as my 41 with the same engine
