starter bushing

Has anyone found a supply of the brush side(front) bushing for the starter with an end cap?The suppliers told me it is an odd size and no one is making them.The bushing A-11052-B will not work.

Bert's has a rear 11/16 or 3/4 for $ 2.40 ea and armature bushing for $.90
As for slow replies it maybe supper/diner time :-)
 
When I was rebuilding starters and generators I would look for the bushing assortments sold to garages, most times the odd ones were still in the box---or I would use another end plate that had good bushings ----also have made bushings from strips of brass, and machined excess off of other bushings to fit----

Cutter's is a bearing, bushing, seal store 5 miles west of me. Paul owns the business and knows his stuff. Give Paul the dimensions ID, OD, and length, and he might stock it or can usually get it. If he can't get it then buy one that can be turned down to size.
