Starter Black Finish

Just dbl checking things here as far as the correct finishes for starters. The band was dipped (gloss black) and the case was sprayed (semigloss or flat black?).. Correct?? Thanks Rod

I went ahead and painted them with the same gloss black. Just the difference in the metal texture gave them a good contrast. Rod

Rod,

Starter looks nice,last night I looked at the picture in the Paint & Finish book,
looks like it was done, starter/band, at one time. Maybe somebody else has
a thought.

I was thinking possibly the same thing. I did them seperately, but at the same time and assembled after the paint was dry. Had to do a minor touchup in one spot where the tape line covering the brushes had moved. Rod
