Wondering if anyone knows anything about this machine which is used to replace brake linings and then arc grind them. This is a heavy duty machine with lots of different anvils inside the cabinet. I believe they are still in business. You should reach out to them. I did this with Dake and they provided me with manuals, parts and information for my 50 ton press manufactured in 1948. Some companies retain all this info. Hopefully Star is one of those companies.

I was curious and checked. They are in business, or at least a continuation of the original business. They do mention they offer parts, manuals, etc for these machines.
