Sadly, our friend and Model T expert passed away a few years ago, maybe 5 years ago. The Model T discussion websites aren't nearly as enjoyable since his passing. :(

Sorry to hear that I have never been on the Model T side of Fordbarn only the Early V8 part. The reason I asked also is I am looking at several Model A and B carburetors that have been rebuilt by Stan Howe a few years ago and never used and hoped I could get an idea of his quality of work and thoroughness like David Renner carbs.

Stan Howe's carb work was second to none. He made amazing saves of damaged brass carbs that are so rare. He was meticulous in his work. If you have access to a confirmed Stan Howe rebuilt carb, you can bet it will work as designed, if not actually better.

Dennis Shedrow at The Carb Shed has done two for me and did an excellent job on both model B Zeniths. He physically tests each carb he rebuilds before shipping, on his model A. That way he knows it’s working properly. He’s doing great work!

So Very True!

Stan was one of a kind, the best of the best when it came to carbs. He also had a quick wit that made his posts enjoyable. He left me in tears when he messaged me one time out of the blue with his take on a certain "clown" in my industry who is despised by most in our hobby!:p

God Bless
