In an earlier blog, I reported my 51 F1 stalling with no warning. After your suggestions and starting with the fuel pump, lines, carb and coil, it was still cuting out. I decided to go the electrical route (your suggestion) with the ignition switch. When I got under the dash, I found the nuts holding the wires to the switch were all loose and losing contact. Problem solved.
