Hi All, I have a 1950 F2 with a flathead and single carb. It is 12V converted with electric fuel pump. I think I ran out of gas a few days ago. As I drove stalled out. I put fresh gas in and it ran ok at first but when I tried to drive it, it was bucking and wouldn't run well for extended periods. I was able to limp it home. I put a new fuel filter and pump in. I can idle it at the house and bring it up to temp. I can drive it around the neighborhood at slow speed but as soon as I start to put it under more load in 4th gear it starts to act up like its running out of fuel again. I can still limp it home. Curious if anyone has any thoughts. I think its still a fuel problem, or vacuum maybe? I have checked the running temp and timing and both are fine/unchanged. I don't see a fuel leak.
The plugs are a bit sooty, but not bad/unusual.
