Stainless trim removal

Please help. I want to remove and restore the stainless trim on my '54 Merc. Monterey hardtop. Will I have to remove any interior panels or will the stainless pry off the clips? I know there are some visible clip/nut type retainers at the rear of the quarter and front end of the front fender side trim but am hoping that the rest are the pry off type. Also what about the beltline trim at the tops of the doors and quarters just below the windows, and the lower trim around the rear window??? Thanks in advance : Bruce
