are all Model A 28-31 spring perches the same length that goes thru the axle?Have a 29 that when nut is on I have too much length for cotter pin? any Ideas? these are originals. thanks Gary. www.whidbeymodelaclub.com

All Model A spring pearches are the same. Are you using the original cone shapped, tall nut?
