Spring Perch Boss Thickness

I've been searching with Google and the board search engine, and I'm not finding an answer. Could somebody please tell me what's the spring-perch boss thickness on a T axle?

Put another way: Is a spacer necessary to run a Model A wishbone on a T axle?

Yes, T axle is 2 1/2 an a is 2 1/4, what are you building? T axle has no brakes. If you have an extra 26-27 rear Crossmember, I need one. Bob

Building a T speedster with all '32-and-earlier parts. No extra crossmembers, sorry, just the one I'm using in my frame.

I thought A axles were 2".

You will have to mill down the T axle 1/8" on the top and bottom to reduce it the 1/4" diffrence. Also the angle on the A wishbone ends is wrong, you need to cut them loose at the trans mount casting and correct the angle to basically straight and reweld it, unless your splitting them of course which you probably are. done this before, it's way better than the T wishbone.

Actually I would like to use batwings designed for an A axle to add hairpins to a T axle.
