I often wonder if any of my "tips" are useful to some folks??
I've talked many times about using a cheap stethescope, with the probe removed, just the open hose, to locate vacuum & exhaust leaks & to "localize" noises that seem to telescope or transmit everywhere. NOBODY, LIKE, NOBODY, ever says, "Dang, that's a good trick"! NOT lookin' for recognition, just send TWINKIES,
