splash aprons

Get Rootlieb aprons. Howell's in Texas are cheaper for a good reason. They are not made correctly. I know because I have a pair I won't use. I use original aprons even though it takes some welding and dent repair. The Howell splash aprons don't have the small indent in the front or the back (where it bolts to the fenders).

I bought a set for my tour car restoration from Sacramento Vintage. They needed some minor modifications and a test fit with the fenders but I think they are going to be ok. Whatever you buy, compare them with your originals and test fit them with your fenders before you paint them.
