Spindle

I’m trying not to replace my spindles the inner wheel bearings are spinning on the spindle both sides. I don’t want to peen the spindle or knurl I tried 660 locktite and ended up cutting of the inner wheel bearing because none of the methods listed on the instructions worked to remove the inner wheel bearing. So this time I’m going to try M222 threadlocker the weakest locker. I’m trying not to replace spindles because of lost time and costs. So hopefully I can get the drums of for future wheel bearing packing. All this work is for a 1952 ford car If I’m way off base please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gerald

Are you saying that the bearings are stuck on the spindles? Normally they are firmly tapped into the hub and come off when the hub is removed.

it’s supposed to be a slip fit on the spindle.— they should be able to turn
The outer races should be a press fit and not turn.

If the inner bearing have spun and worn the spindle and you don't want to replace the spindles. Some form of stud and bearing mount adhesive is the about the only choice.
Knurling & ***** punching never seems to hold up.

Guess your first choice was too strong if you had to cut the bearing off. Maybe the next time will be the charm.

Thinking any kind of locker would require heat to get off; hopefully not too much for the bearing.
