Speedways new catalog=revolting

I believe the 37 Ford design to be the pinacle of FORD'S ART DECO design cars. I'm sure the 36 and 38 guys are going to be all over this. Of coarse 39's are the cutest. Nuf said.

The Speedway pic is not great, but I've seen lots of pics of the real car and I'd take it in a heartbeat.

There were two 37 coupes running around Lead, SD when I was a paper boy. I liked both of them. Denny Egemo had one and he wrecked it. The other one was owned by Alan Lights older brother. It was painted with gray primer. the side panels on the hood were removed. I do not know what happened to Alan, the 37 or his brother. Kids would move out of town and the classmates were never informed. My brother said the nuns at Saint Patrick were responsible for the disappearances. My brother did not like the nuns. There were a lot of tramp miners back in the old days. I think they just moved to another mining camp. I always thought the 37 Fords were good looking cars.

Slim,
Speaking for myself, there was no offense taken. Everyone has the right to speak his mind. If we all liked the same things it would be an awfully dull world. Tastes change too, when I was a kid I thought the `37 Fords, the 30's Willy's especially, the Hudson's, the Nash’s and the Studebakers were the ugliest cars made. Now look at them, they are beautiful! Different, but beautiful.

Yes,I remember when 37s were ugly, but that all changed in later years.I still haven't warmed up 38 deluxes or 39 standards.
