Speedway 94 carbs

[Walt Dupont--Me.]

A friend just called me today and said he was about to bye a couple of Speedways new 94 carbs. I said whooo, let me get some input on these carbs before you bye them. Has anyone got any input on these new 94s from Speedway? Thanks Walt

Check the HAMB, they had a lot to say about them.

I think the 94's are coming from Edelbrock. I haven't heard anything about them. Speedway has their version of the 97 that they call the "9 Super 7." Those have received some less than rave reviews.

If they are anything like Speedy Bill's 97 knock off's (9 super 7's) were when they first came out, I would suggest that you get the facts from those who may have tried them before making a purchase. JMHO

I have Speedways latest catalog. They show the Edelbrock 94 ,which they sell .It shows no 94 that is made by Speedy ,only their 9 super 7.

Perhaps they are only beginning to work on ripping off Edelbrock's new "94"??

That's it, the 94 is Edelbrock, haven't had one of them in my hands yet.

Speedway's 9 Super 7 seems to be what it is, a cheap approximation of a 97 Stromberg. Expect similar performance. Maybe OK on a mower.
