Speedster Build - Radiator & Wheel Identification

I'm trying to identify: (1) the wheel size and (2) year of the radiator shell on the speedster in the attached pictures.

Specifically, I'm guessing that the wheels are either 21" or 19". Is there any way to tell from the attached pictures?

Regarding the radiator, I can't tell whether it is the taller '30/'31 or the shorter, more squatty '28/'29.

I found this speedster picture a while ago on the Internet, but don't remember the year of the chassis or any other details. I'm trying to build something similar on a bare 1928 chassis I purchased last year, but am having trouble finding anything (other than the wheel base) that I can use as a reference to get a sense of how this is all proportioned.

Any comments / suggestions greatly appreciated!

It appears to be the "repop" radiator shroud, unfortunately covered by bug grill. The hood may be a "creation" too in stainless steel, although the general layout mimics the 28-29 hood.

I see that it has the Ford blue oval in place, and holes for the conduits - so this repop is probably in stainless.

Given what little I can see through the bug grill, I would say it is the squatter 28-29 pattern. The "brow" of the 30-31 shroud is "straighter" somehow.

Whoever made the hood has obviously had some experience in these matters as making the hinges "disappear" in the fold takes some mighty careful work, or careful jigging beforehand. I'm not aware that anyone has repop'ed the hood in stainless, and right now stainless shrouds are among the unobtanium.

I'm having trouble getting stainless spark and throttle rods.

The hood may be aluminum with a good polish. The wheels do look to be 30/31 types. The boot cowl or at least the gas tank is 28/29 so the radiator shell is likely the same

I go along with 28/29 radiator and 19" Model A wheels on that nice looking speedster. I have space for it in my garage.
