My speedometer in my 46 Ford Coupe occasionally buzzes/vibrates very bad.
Do I need another speedometer head, or cable?
What other speedometer head will fit?

Probably wouldn't hurt to lift the floorboard and check and Re-Lube your turtle too!!! Not too difficult to do!! Plus you can check the teeth there and make sure its still operating as it should as well!!
The head may need some lubrication. Use a light oil ( like 3 in 1) and use it sparingly. Not that familar with that year speedo, but there might be a small oil hole the back
Our '41 had basically the same speedo.The needle would jump around. removed the speedo and put some light oil inthe lub hole where the cable connects while turning it with a battery drill with a square drive bit. Solved all the vibrations and lasted that way for yrs.
