speedometer gear options; C4 trans

Is there a 17 tooth speedometer cable gear for the C4 trans? I have a 16 tooth which registers too fast and an 18 tooth which registers too slow with my tires.
The 16 tooth is just right for LT235x15 tires/2.79 rear. I'm switching to 225/75/15 tires.

Does anyone have a source for these gears?

I have a plastic jar of them around here someplace, if I have a 17 tooth I'll mail it to you.

You can get a ,16-17-18-19-20-21 , driven gear that installs on the end of cable for c/4. Some of the automatic transmissions have a drive gear on the tail shaft that can be changed out too . But i believe the c/4 has a fixed one you can't change out. I do know you can get the ones i listed as i have been going though the same thing on my truck i changed tire size and did a gear change to .

You can get them from venders on E-Bay or at ,www.TransmissionCenter.net and there are a lot more sources , just Google it , that's what i did.

Go to ebay. There are all the available teeth on there. I bought a couple through ebay.

Google "National Parts Depot". They have what you need and they are about $3.00 last ones I bought. Good source for Mustang, T-Bird, F-100, Camaro, Chevelle, and lots of others.
