sqeeking coming and going. should i remove cable housing then pull out cable and lube with white grease? any idea?

I would probably lube it to avoid it breaking.

Yes, just remove cable from sheath and coat with White grease. Reinstall and go have fun!!

Thought mine was the cable and it turned out to be in the speedo head. A little light machine oil on the bushing where the cable "plugs in" quieted things down and remedied the jumpiness of the mph indicator.
