I've been in touch with two very nice sounding men who re-build speedometers. I'd like to know if anyone has had exceptional experience recently either good or troublesome with a speedo re-build.
PM is fine in the interest of privacy.

Like Mark mentioned above, I got mine from Harry Warburton. He rebuilt three of mine and did a nice job. However, I have one installed in my coupe, but have yet to test it. The other 2 are patiantly waiting to be installed in my 29 phaeton and 29 CCPU.

I have had great service from a guy that advertises in the classifieds here named Lenard Nicoles Jr. He is in NY. state. Very fast turnaround(mine were a day or two ). His prices were also very good. He got both of mine to within 1mph. of my GPS.
 
Mr. Nichols did outastanding work for me. Besides the work he gave me credit for 2 cores that I had accumulated.
