Need help in finding a co. that makes speedmeter cables I have upgraded my 40 ford with auto meter gauges and speedmeter hopeful some one can help me find where to buy one

Most older cars had Stewart Warner cables, there were only a few ends. If you can still find a place with pictures of each end, you can just about choose the length you need. The new ones often need ties to keep them away from the exhaust. The new ones melt.
 
Whar part of the country are you in? In Costa Mesa Ca there is a place called Gails Speedo, I brought them each end and told him how long and next day it was ready.
