Specific style for flower vase?

[Commander Toasty]

Is there a specific style or description of the flower vase(s) sometimes mounted in the coach? Likewise the metal band that mounts them? I see some repo stuff out there (quite expensive) and there doesn't appear to be any consistency other than the general shape. And likewise I see them in various tints. Anybody have pictures of examples? Sources?

Since they were an aftermarket thing not specifically endorsed by Ford, there is no specific style or color. I don't know if the rare Town Car came with them or not?? Here's a few links:

Collection for sale on the net

When I saw the prices for bud vases, I found these and made my own brackets.
Go to eBay, don't look up bud vases ..... Look up "epergne". Worked for me.

At the swap meet in Portland about 15yrs. ago, one of the vendors had a nice collection for sale that I showed an interest in. Other than being named "Bud Vases", they were also called "Southern Baptist Drinking Glasses" They must have used them for having a taste of the good "ole" moonshine. What I have never figured out.....was there two mounted in the back, or was it common practice to only mount one?
