I just obtained a Sparton Ahooga Horn; it still has the original tag, attached to the horn bell and the SPARTON is in red (quite faded), Mod AJ , 6 Volt, Serial No. 51923. Its a small horn with a bracket attached to two of the motor bolts (not like a Model A bracket), the back cover only says "ADJUST". It has the two contacts on the outside bottom of the horn.

I cleaned and lubed the horn and it works fine.

Is this a Model T Horn ? or for some other kind of car in the 20's?

I have a Sparton horn also. Model R2-14. From my research it came from a Willies Jeep around 1942. Not sure what your model was for, sorry.

Huck,

This horn was built by Sparton in 1923; the Jeep didn't exist!!!! Thanks for trying to help me identify it.
