I have a Spartan horn that will work good for 5 or 6 times and then it just blows steady, one click on the screw and it works again. Has anyone have a solution to this little problem? Thanks Dwight

I wonder if you have a repro cover screw that threads in too far and touches the brush holder. That would make it blow steady, or short to ground, depending on which wire was under which contact strip under the horn cover.

If you unscrew the cover screw a few threads and that fixes the problem, then grind off about 1/8" of the screw.
