Everyone I know that has changed to a 5.5 head (or more) was thrilled that they did. They can stay in High gear longer climbing a grade, and overall have more power.

Once you have the head off you should get a HC head.

I installed a 5.5 head and it made a big improvment, so much that i then went to a 6.1 head and liked it even more. You will be able to take off with traffic better and if you have any hills were you drive you will apprciate the head even more.
