Spark plug wrench?

Hello, looking for a FORD spark plug wrench for a 31 model A. The plugs are champion, 3x, 1-1/8, anyone know what model number I need? Thanks.

A-1707 Spark Plug & Cylinder Head Nut Wrench. These are commonly found at swap meets & listed for sale on the internet.

I carry an extended length socket in my tool box for the plugs. I carry a breaker bar and socket wrench and extension for the wheel nuts, so I just use the breaker bar and socket to remove and tighten the plugs. The socket works better than the wrench but the flat leads have to be removed first.

Bob, should it be A-17017? I've found a few of those, but they are not 1-1/8 sized. Am I wrong about 3x plugs coming in all model As? The plugs I have are 1-1/8, confusing, Thanks again.

Ok, please clarify this, its said that ALL model As came with 3x, champion plugs, these plugs are 1 1/8 wrench size, its said that wrench A-17017 came with the vehicles. I have not been able to locate said wrench that is 1 1/8 open end. What am I missing here? Thanks in advance.

I use a 14” adjustable wrench, also known as a spanner or a monkey wrench.

I have 1 or 2 of them with 1-1/8" open end. I'll have to check if they're "Ford" wrenches and if they have a number on them.

Model A wrench is 1 1/8 no numbers Model T is 1" with number on them

Maybe it's the camera angle but to me both of those wrenches look like they're 1" and 1⁄8 width according to the ruler in the photo.

Model T spark plugs take a 15/16" wrench.

I have 2 of the Model A wrenches, both have 1-1/8" open end, 11/16" box end. One has no markings on it, the other is marked A-17017-*-1, the * number may be 3 or 5, it's hard to make out.
I also have a Model T wrench, open end is 15/16", box end id 5/5", markings are: T 5893 Ford.
The box end is for cylinder head nuts.
