Spark plug lifting ring

here is mine. and why. The lifting rings screwed into the spark plug holes put the lift point slightly off center and the engine will lift with a slight tilt. The angle iron moves the center lift point to the weight center of the engine thus she will lift straight. The straight lift makes it easier to get straight into the rear motor mounts.

Construction: Two 7/8-14 plugs with the top cut off and brored out. 7/16" nut welded to top of plug. 7/16-fine thread (in this case flywheel bolts) screwed into nuts. The notches in the angle were cut to be able to use with number 2 and 3 plugs still in head. Center notch cut to miss distributor. With number 2 and 3 plug removed and distributor removed the notches are not required.

Operatioon: Screw plugs into head. Place angle on top of plugs. Screw bolts into plugs.
