Spark advance setting

I live in south Florida. It is flat as a fritter here, So adjusting the spark advance while driving doesn't seem to be needed. All the way up to start, then halfway down and leave it alone. I put about 150 or more miles a week on my car, and it seems to do fine like this at any speed. Cruise to work at 45. Am I causing any adverse effects to the engine driving like this. I pull the plugs every other week to check, they are a perfect light grey. It gets really hot here, stuck in traffic a lot, never heats up over 170.

Sounds like your perfectly fine to me.... Don't forget to change the oil and check and or change the other fluids periodically ....

Thanks, just want to make sure by running the spark advance center all the time won't damage anything. Put over 3000 miles on it since January, and it only seems to run better the more I drive. I try to keep that happy medium, I don't twist it up to the twilight zone, and I don't let it lug. So far all has been well. Again, thanks and I will continue to drive it the way I have been.
