Spare tire

Getting ready to order wheels and tires. Planning on ordering whitewalls which are a little pricey. I am curious what most people are doing for their spare. Do you have a cheap tire for the spare or purchase a 5th whitewall if that is what you are running on?

I have DB radials on the car and a black radial, same size bought from WalMart.

I have different size front and rear whitewalls. The spare matches the front for safety in steering and braking. If it is the rear that goes flat, running different size tires on the rear will keep the differential busy, but that is what it is designed for. And I would not be running mismatched for that many miles until I get the rear tire fixed or replaced.

If you have "problems" and have always damaged one tire before the rest of the set wears out get a matching spare ---if you never use a spare it doesn't matter
