Spare Tire Carriers

Dear Colleague

Please help me identify the two spare tire carriers in the photos. One is A 1383 A 2 with the second A stylized. The other is marked A 1383 - C.

I do not see these listed on page 22-13 Revised 2011 in the Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards.

I need a spare tire carrier for an April 1930 roadster.

Thanks,
Don

If you look at my drawings closely you will see I sketched the casting numbers on each one if applicable (early ones weren't cast). What you have are two Phaeton/Sedan spare tire carriers. I believe the thinner one is late '28-29 and the other is mid '30. I didn't look it up so I could be off a little. Also, the foot notes clarify the casting numbers.

Yes I saw the casting numbers on the drawings but there was no reference to scripted "A 2" or "-C", so I wasn't sure what body style and year for each piece. Thanks, Don
