Southern Rods & Parts

They are big and sell lots of parts. I usually buy something from them at NSRA events. Saves paying sales tax or shipping.

I have boought from them. Nice guys and not as expensive as the guys who advertise in all the mags

anyone ever used one of their Mustang II suspension kits? They are about $1400 hub-to-hub for a F1, with free shipping.
Who makes it? if it is a Heilx brand it may be made in China and not good at all control arm pivots are not good at all. Friend had one all welded in and painted, had to cut it out the tubes for control arm pivots were to loose. Laurie

Keep checking for Heidt's to do a sale.
2 years ago I was looking for a M II set up and they allowed thier dealers to do a super deal

Full cross member, hub to hub bearings, calipers, rotors, braided brake lines, tubular a-arms, power steering rack, free shipping $1500 and Heidts is the best you can buy in my opinion.
PM me and I'll give you the dealers name I bought it from

Southern is good with some parts however stay away from the suspension kits and their AC Both are knock offs. I second 48Flyer Heidts is the way to go, I have their superide II in my sedan and have had zero problems.

I bought a small under dash AC unit from them. The evaporator was made in the USA and all parts fit with no problems. I will be a return customer.
