some one that can help with coil on 40 ford

Do you have the helmet/diver distributer with a cap on each side and coil mounted on top? If so, through my searching, a "coil adapter"is made, most aftermarker venders carry them...25-35 dollars IIRC, it take the place of the mounted coil, then you mount a cannister style coil on your intke, and run coil wire to the adapter.
