I just had to say after quite a few years of being without a Model A I finally have a 31 p.u. that's starting a new life as a Huckster. I've been getting things together bit by bit. I have to say Snyder's Antique Auto Parts has been a big help. I love that catalog and it has many dog eared pages. I look forward to Fridays cause I usually order in the eve on Sunday and the box is always on my stoop on that Friday afternoon. I sure wish they had a store in California close to where I live they'd have to kick me out in the evenings, I'd never want to leave. Keep up the good work. You've got a very happy customer. Hope all check you guys out.
James.

Of all of the cars and specialist parts stores I deal with, the "A" crowd is blessed to have the suppliers that have chosen to serve us.

The first thing that you will notice is that A HUMAN BEING ANSWERS THE PHONE! That doesn't happen on calls to many other specialty parts stores.

The second thing you will notice is that if you have a phone relationship with someone (like the owner, or someone who also works on their car), you can get them on the phone without much trouble at all. Again, this doesn't often happen on other body types.

The third thing you will notice is that advice is free. Take it for what it is worth, but with over 5,000 (?) parts in an "A", and so much similarity under the skin, these folks learn to handle the questions we have because they have heard them before and probably have had that same question themselves some time back.

Being on the East Coast, I have one who can ship UPS and I get it the next day (although I have to pay tax). Another can also ship UPS with one day delivery and no tax. Others may only be an additional day away by shipping, and one I drive past weekly.

A collection of catalogs from all the suppliers is great as to the diagrams, photos and tips they include. The Model A restoration hobby is probably the most advanced of all vehicle types, as Ford documented things so well. I also buy from Snyders and Brattons, as the tax savings from a California purchase easily offsets the shipping charges.

I've ordered from a number of different suppliers and they've all been great, but I have to say that Snyder's is my favorite. Like Dusty, I usually get things in about 24 hours, helps to be close

Well, I guess I'd file this under "your mileage may vary" but I had a less that good experience with my last Snyder's order. I bought the expensive "modern pump kit" to rebuild a water pump. There was a problem with the kit and Snyder's didn't want to take it back. I'm out about $63. I'm not angry but just disappointed.

I ordered parts from Snyders on friday, morning, the delivery truck drove up my drive with them on Monday morning,
I live in Queensland Australia,

Just came from there. They are about 45 minutes from me. This is the 5th time I have gone there for parts and never came away without a complete order!

Our club is taking a tour there on the 25th of september, I hear they have quite a display of vehicles in there meseum. can't wait.

most parts dealers are very helpful, and it is great to have catalogs from all of them including Canada.. Their diagrams etc are very helpfull..

Boston Bruce, I am very surprised at this, early this year I had a problem with tires and how they wore and Snyder's did good by me. In fact they still ahve not seen the tires that I had problems with only asking that I drop them off so they could see them sometime in the future and not to make a special trip to do so. I would give them another call.

Can't wait to get home cause my Snyder's package is waiting on the porch:D Chrome goodies
